Packers Fans Want the WHOLE Team in the Picture

Many of you who follow me on Twitter and are friends of mine on Facebook aren’t fans of the Green Bay Packers, but there are quite a few of you out there, so this may interest you.

In case you haven’t heard, the Packers are taking their team photo on Tuesday the week before they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.  The problem lies in the fact that the fifteen players that ended the season on the injured reserve list aren’t arriving with the rest of the team, and they won’t reach Dallas until Thursday, leaving them out of the team photo.

The team has cited logistical difficulties due to the extraordinarily high number of players currently on I.R. as the reason for this decision, but that reasoning is far from sufficient for many of us “Packer Backers”. 

So in order to make our voices heard, we have taken to the social media landscape and launched an online petition asking the organization to reconsider their position and make the necessary changes to allow all the players to appear in the team photograph.
